What is it? Who is Coriander's mother, and why is she not with Robert? How did he and Lindy get together? What did she do in Summervile or whatever the place is called?

    Sunningdale.

Both moved to Ambridge together (Robert was a high-flyer in IT before becoming a handyman), so I guess Robert was divorced and met Lindy before that.

Don't know if L had a previous husband.

From "The Book of the Archers":
Robert was originally married to Bobo. They had two daughters; Leonie (born 1975) and Coriander (born 1977). It's not recorded when they divorced, but Lynda and Robert were already married when they moved to Ambridge in 1986. At that time Robert had his own IT business. Lynda has not been married before. She and Robert would have liked to have children together, but unfortunately they were not able to have any.

As far as I know, how Robert and Lynda met is not officially recorded, but I seem to recall hearing or reading somewhere that while Robert was still married to Bobo he worked for an IT company and that Lynda was his secretary. However, I could be making that bit up.

    Hope this helps.

I can only remember that they arrived around Christmas and threw a big partyt to which nobody came. Lynda was a fairly simply drawn Margo Leadbetter type and her character has become much more rounded and more lovable and likeable since - although she still has her enemies. Robert was always a sweetie, but, like Pat and Tony, far too soft with his rudeand spoilt children.
