Children, grandchildren and the family trees.

  Having listened to the previous episodes of The Archers on Radio 7 I started wondering about all the old characters from the past, mostly if any of them had families. So any help would be appreciated about the following;
  
  1. Did Tom Forrest and Pru Forrest, Marjorie Antrobus, Aunt Laura and Auntie Satya have any children?
  
  2. Why did Lynda Snell never have children?
  
  3. What ever happened to Christine Barford's child Peter?
  
  4. Why do the family trees on this website ignore past family relations?

  Hi Albert, I don't have my reference books to hand, but off the top of my head:
  
  Tom and Pru Forrest - adopted two boys. can't remember what happened to them, but they hadn't been heard of for years before Tom and Pru died.
  
  Marjorie Antrobus - no. Marjorie had dogs. She was an eminently sensible woman.
  
  Aunt Laura - to the best of my recollection, no children, but not 100% sure.
  
  Aunt Satya - not sure. have we ever heard if she has children? I remember Usha's brother turning up, but I don't think we've heard cousins.
  
  Lynda - would have liked children, but it never happened. Robert, of course, had two daughters from his previous marriage whiach may have been a contributory factor.
  
  Peter Barford - is doing something musical, with an orchestra (or something) somewhere. Occasionally Christine will go to stay with him, or he'll stay with her for Christmas, but he hasn't been heard in a long time. But then, neither has Christine.
  
  You'll have to ask Taylor about the family trees on the website, but I imagine it's something to do with resources and the number of people available to maintain them.
  
  As I said, that's the best I can do from memory, but if it's wrong I expect someone will be along with more details soon.

  Tina's abuot there. As far as I know neither Aunt Laura nor Auntie Satya had children. Laura's estate was inherited by a distant neice/cousin when she forgot to sign her will leaving it all to Freddie Danby. I think Satya chose her career over marriage and family and Usha is her substitute daughter
