    Just a quick question.
I've been a listener for 30+ years, but have had one or two periods of not listening for a few weeks, due to events.
I'm wondering what the "Mr Snowy" reference to Nigel (RIP) might be.
I can't recall any mention of it before, but it keeps popping up in the press now.
    Any answers? Thanks.

Mr Snowy was the brand of ice cream van Nigel drove in a summer job once, during his romancing of Elizabeth. I would argue that the fact such an old reference is still used by 'fans' of Nigel is indicative of a lack of charcter development, and one good reason for his being 'killed off'.

Waits for the hate mail from posters whose 'Dear old Ambridge' has been ruined for them by the monstrous regiment of women, like Kathy, Ruth, Helen and Vanessa Whitburn...
