appear in my posting history/profile. I posted a reply a short while ago to a thread in Discuss the Archers and I went to my profile just now to see which of 'my' threads had been posted to since my contribution and I noticed that that particular thread was not there?

Oops, Ignore this question please. I've just noticed that it was there all along - I was looking for the wrong title (doh!)
Such a thrillinng discussion, this - deserves to be highlighted in Recent Posts (oh, I see it has been...).
Sorry, Colin - not meaning to poke fun at you. We all make mistakes like this - what gets me is the silly random highlighting of posts from all parts of the board that leads to threads like this one, which I'm sure you'd be the first to admit is not riveting - int he Recent Posts section.

Thanks Moominllama - that gave me a good laugh - and I thought there was some logic to the threads that appeared in the 'recent posts' list. Yes I definitely admit this is less than riveting and was sort of hoping that no-one would notice it.
Colin, I´m having the same problem

I clicked here out of curiosity, Colin, wondering what more could possibly be said and it gave me a good laugh too.
Is this going to become the Peter Sellers 'Being There' Thread?
Nothing wrong with this one appearing. The one that steamed me up was when a thread entitled "I think Nigel dies tonight" or something similar, correctly posted in the "Archers Spoilers" section of the board was highlighted on the day of the SATTC episode.
Although the item was only speculation based on that person's reading of the RT schedules for next week, it still planted the idea on my head that Nigel would die before the episode went out - and in the same week that Tayler had been trying her hardest to keep listings based speculation OUT of "discuss the Archers". Tayler may have been madder than me.
But she confirmed in that thread that the "recent discussions" selection is indeed randomly selected by a "robot" (aka a computer programme)
Paul, I agree completely with your point. Tayler has promised in reply to a previous request of mine (and probably others too) that spoilers will not be allowed in Recent Discussions. I don't know know whether this has been put into action yet.

Hi Laura, actually my problem was with my own brain/eyesight, as it was there all along.
...and was sort of hoping no-one would notice itÂ
Snork colin - and oops! I too only clicked on it out of curiosity because I saw it in recent discussions and thought there must be some hot-topic posting going on here.
Um...
...I'll close the door quietly on my way out, shall I? ; )
Gx
What really annoys me is that I cannot isolate my own marvelous posts.
If I go to My Discussions. I get this rubbish
which claims to be and I quote
Listed below are posts made by you (U14244407) between Tuesday, 4th January 2011 and Saturday, 8th January 2011 (6 Minutes Ago) Â
These are not my POSTS. This is merely a list of THREADS which I've posted in. I repeat once again ( and I'm sure that I speak for all the members ) that I am not interested In the comments of my fellow MLers other than to ridicule their feeble efforts.
Can the powers that be please provide a facility which enables me to search for, and isolate, all the posts made by U14244407 so that I can bask in my own glory otherwise I may consider leaving this bored.
AZomby,
'Last contribution' takes you to your last post on a particular thread, that's usually enough for most people.
You could of course save links to your posts in your 'favourites/bookmarks' if you want to "bask in your glory" long term.
Or you could restrict yourself to the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú blogs which do show each pearl of wisdom in your discussion list.
HTH
Thanks very much iFlea but I've just realised that most of my best posts have been moderated. It is some consolation that one can bask in ones own glory by reading ones emails from the moderators.

Hi mooninllama
I haven't heard back yet whether it's possible to exclude certain topics. I'll chase this up tomorrow.
Thanks
Tayler
