There has been discussion on the DTA board about whether or not Shula qualified as a chartered surveyor. My recollection is that she did so qualilfy but I could be wrong.
Tayler, could this be clarified, please?
I thought she failed her exams, which was why Graham Ryder was appointed to replace her.
Shula passed her estate agents exans after failing them at least twice. As far as I know she is not a member of RICS (which a chartered surveyor would be).

I think she was replaced by Graham Ryder when she had to resign from Rodway and Watson when she gave evidence on behalf of the Grundys at the inquiry (or whatever it was) when they were about to lose Grange Farm.

I don't think the Grundys did lose Grange Farm at that time - although it was threatrened - Simon Pemberton was still the owner at the time, and I thought it was after he left that the Grundys lost the farm....?
It was some kind of estate agent exams that Shula took - I don't think that she was ever a chartered surveyor.

Tayler, a definitive reply would be appreciated, please.

We could email RICS (she suggested, helpfully!) and ask them.

Tayler, if the question can't be answered, can you just say so?
dickie, I think you will find that the definitive answer has been given by Tina and myself: Shula isn't a chartered surveyor but she eventually passed some exams in estate agency.
