Could the next David/Kenton scene be guest-written by John Cleese?
The silver tray / square cake / "I am a farmer, I do farming" sketch was a classic Python / Fawlty Towers sketch on many levels. There were elements of:
"This parrot is dead; this is an ex-parrot";
"I am a Doctor and I want my sausages";
"Spoons! Spthoons!";
"Why didn't you SAY ..."
... actually, it's been a while since a character from this farce we call 'real life' appeared in the series - how's about Cleese spending a few days at Grey gables or Lower Loxley some time soon, as part of a more festive 60th anniversary year?
Bear
Ah, just the mention of those sketches brings a smile to my face and a giggle to my stomach.
A brilliant suggestion of Bear's - seconded! (Mr Cleese, if you are anywhere on this forum, please take note...)
Back to the world of dreams...
