It says in the official FAQ that episodes are transmitted between three and six weeks after recording. However, the actors who play James Bellamy and Leonie Snell appear in the photos taken during the Duchess of Cornwall's visit to the Mailbox on 16th February - 10 weeks ago - and they are only appearing on the programme this week. Why is that?

Why are we still allowed to say "duchess" but not "actress"?
Actually it was the Duke of Cornwall who visited Grey Gables while her husband had a prior engagement elsewhere.
Perhaps James and Leonie were recording Ambidex on 16/2/11?

Was not aware anyone had banned "us" from saying "actress". I certainly say it. As in "Carole Boyd is a superb actress."

I expect they managed to re-arrange their rotas! ☺

They were at the Mailbox for the "celebrations," plenty of actors were there, including "Nigel," who was dead. They were there, not to record an episode, but to meet Milla, who turned up to wear a badge and have photos taken (though not eating Duchy shortbread) on the day the charity GG event was broadcast.
(Has there been a huge increase in monetary donations to whatever charity it was she supports, btw?)

Hi all
Yes - Sallyruth is right in that the event at the Mailbox with the Duchess of Cornwall was a special event with most of the cast, past and present, invited.
This is separate to the recording of the show.
Sallyruth, I've no idea whether there was any increase in contributions to the Osteoperosis Society.
Tayler
Thanks Tayler.
