  Please can someone tell me: who is he, where did he come from and how long has he been in Ambridge?

  He's the relief barman appointed sometime during Jolene's period of mourning. We heard the interview of a many pierced young lady by Fallon, but not the successful candidate, who became a silent until Am Ex began, after which he snuck into the full fat version occasionally (I think we heard him in the great Rhys v Harry bike race that came to a premature end thanks to Steve the twocer's crash) Won;t say too much incase you do not want to be sullied by knowledge of AmEx life

  Wasn't he actually employed as some kind of temporary or relief manager when Jolene was feeling depressed after Sid's death and has only since morphed into a regular bog standard member of the bar staff?

  Harry and Jazzer are living in one of Lillian and Matt's conversions, the only one so far I think, Peet. Not in Ambridge iirc. Might be Hollerton.

  Ah, OK. The reason I thought they were in the flat above the shop was a throwaway line about going "downstairs for milk" when Jazzer was making porridge. Or that might have been entirely in my own head.

  The Odd Couple live at a house called Hillside top right on the Ambridge map, but allegedly next to a downmarket Lower Loxley. Mind you, this property is shown as THREE houses on the paper map.

  Each one was split into flats, with the proviso from the council that one of them should be low cost dwellings.
  
  Naturally, Matt chose the gloomier, northerly property for this purpose. Cheerfully organised milkman Harry Mason soon took up the opportunity to move to Ambridge and sub-let a room to his cheerfully chaotic colleague Jazzer McCreary"

  He's a device, ladymarmalade, introduced by the SWs to deliver the Horrobin backstory to newer listeners.
  
  Once he's done that, he'll probably move one ... either before or after Clive terrorises him. Although, with the current SW team in a huge drench of creativeness, /during/ is by no means out of the question.
  
  You didn't really think he was really real, did you? I mean, I did (think he was real, that is) but this is Ambridge where the real is unreal and the unreal is not what you thought it was.
