Lord Harries of Pentrebach gives Thought for the Day quite often. He was the joint longest-serving bishop along with Cyril Hood of Felpersham, before they both retired round about the same time. Of course both were lords due to their longevity as bishops. But why don't we hear Cyril doing Thought for the Day? Is he still alive?
Don't quote me on this, but I think he's a fictional character and doesn't really exist.

He's living quietly in the Borsetshire countryside with his gay lover and keeping a few chickens and goats.

I'm ignoring Message 2. Actually what message 2, was there one?
Message 3 makes it all the more fitting that Lord Hood of Darrington should do Thought for the Day. Children in Need Day,, maybe...?
