    This link any help?

Also IIRC Clive slashed the Stables horses misguidedly thinking
that George & Christine were still living there, as now it's
    Alastair, Shula and Daniel

Plus he held up the village shop (pre-community shop/time)
with Debbie and Kate also the late Betty (tucker), Jack Woolley
    caused heart problems for him

I know that other MLers/TA posters will remember more than
    I have

I think he's been in prison at least three times. The following may not be in exactly the right order and there are probably bits I've forgotten.

    1. Armed raid on village shop, as RosalindF says.

    2. Escaped from prison and threatened Susan and her children so that she would hide him. Susan served a prison sentence as a result.

    3. Beat up George Barford.

    4. All of the following over a period of a few weeks:

    Assorted burglaries.

    Mutilated horses at the stables.

Set fire to a house with two people inside it (Christine and Jill).

The latter two, as RosalindF says, were designed as revenge on George Barford for going to the police after incident number 3.

Non-criminal offence: he left his girlfriend Sharon in the lurch after their daughter Kylie was born. He seems to have taken no interest in her life at all.

    1. Yes and Clive also set fire to the Barford's home, the Police House
when Christine and Jill were both inside, David got them out with
his father, Christine's brother, Phil Archer of that burning home.

Also the trauma of that experience took its toll on George Barford's health, he died from a heart attack about 6 months later.

    2. The previous time that Clive's in Ambridge, he threatened his sister,
Susan in her home but she found an excuse to go to the Village Shop and phoned the police from there, where he was found and got the last sentence (12 years) But he was rude to her and said that
when he got out that he (Clive) would get his revenge IIRC

(No wonder that Christine's scared of him, if it's RL, I would be)

He also forced recovering-alcoholic George to drink some whisky.

    Which was then forgotten about.

Who have watched his mould of man, big-boned and hardy-handsome
Stealing, stealing, till time when George rumbled it,

    etc?
