Hi Tayler
There was a good amount of discussion at Bridge Farm this week about whether or not Tony should take on more work. I didn't hear any of the family, among whom I will graciously include Brenda (her opinion was most eagerly sought and appreciated) say something along the lines of 'Well, the doctor said.....' or 'the cardiac specialist told you....' . Have we heard on air what the hospital's advice was about gradually getting back in harness ? Wouldn't Tony had left hospital with a fair bit of advice form the medical profession on just this subject ?
Thanks.

As he has no heart damage the advice was probably to extend range of activities slowly, stopping if fatigued, and seeking medical advice if any angina or palpitations.

Hi Buntysdaughter
I think he told Lilian and Jennifer (soon after he'd come home from the hospital) that he'd been in touch with the rehab specialist. His advice would be to slowly restore his physical fitness and that it may take a few months before he's properly back to work.

Thanks, Tayler. Just hope for his sake that he is going to have a consultation with someone medical reasonably soon - he'll most likely have some kind of check-up ?
