Tayler your "Handy Link" is not to a feedback form it is to this page

Which has a link to a "Feedback Form" but does not go to one; instead to this page

whence, using the least unlikely option, one gets to a drop down box insisting that one reads this page

    Which is where we started.

We are now in a loop.

If one decides to break out and use the form it is very unclear what information should be given.

I just copy the whole email of censorship and add my objections.

But is this system specifically designed to discourage complains?

Or is it just incompetently set up?

    Cheers

    Steve

PS If I were you I should look for other work. The wedge is splitting the log.

    Hi all

If anyone feels a post has been wrongly removed during moderation, you should use the feedback form to contest it - available via the FAQs on the right - here's a handy link:

    www.bbc.co.uk/messag...

Please don't use this board as a forum for finger-pointing (almost always at an innocent party) and to complain about the system. It just causes bad feeling here.

Thanks all - and yes, I am going to close this thread now.

    Hi OI

The information you get before the form is designed to ensure that people contacting the team are doing so for the right reasons. You are offered choices along the way - ie "You can appeal using this feedback form" which links you to the choice of contact options.

Under "How should I make my appeal", it tells you what to include in the form, namely:

If you want us to consider an appeal against a moderation decision, your appeal must satisfy the following conditions:

    - You must make your appeal within 30 days of the moderation decision. An initial response will be provided within 10 working days of the complaint being made.

    - Complaints about specific moderation decisions will only be accepted from the user who is subject to that moderation decision and not from third parties, unless it can be demonstrated that they have been appointed by the user themselves as their representative.

    - Complainants must include post numbers or moderation reference numbers, or include a link to the relevant content, to enable the original content and moderation history of the item to be traced. Complaints that do not include these details will not be considered.

    - Complaints should be clear and concise and not exceed more than 1000 words. Complaints must concern a matter of substance, not be vexatious or trivial, and there must be sufficient evidence to suggest that an appeal against a moderation decision has a reasonable prospect of success.

At first glance it does seem like a loop but in fact the form is actually there! Click on comments and complaints about moderation and then scroll down, and you will see it...
