    ‘How many users are there?’

I think we can safely say that there are about 200-250 regular posters to TA and the following random figures have led me to that conclusion. I have added some further statistics which may be of interest.

226 people posted to the ML ages thread
244 people posted to the Graham Seed thread
252 A one day peak number of regular poster on Chris Ghoti’s survey in January, 2011.

    Others:

619 people logged on to all Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú sites 8th September, 2010
1503 people logged on to all Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú sites 16th January, 2011, perhaps the Nigel phenomena.

There were 617 average daily posts in June, 2012
Top was 16.25% of posts on a Friday in June
Bottom was 7.9% of posts on Saturday.

There were 5432 Posts last week to 613 threads.
10 people made 34% of all posts

There were 2012 Votes May, 2005 re Adam expanding polytunnels
86% said yes but I doubt it was in their backyards.

There were 2780 Votes December, 2008 re Alistair's handling of Ryan
I suspect that some voted more than once. Unfortunately, 26% said he was handling it well!

The votes would include our friends from the other Archers’s boards but still seems a large number.

All you really need to know is that it is a statistically insignificant sum when compared to the total listenership for The Archers.

Only because the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú have been playing down the existence of the board for about a decade. If it got half as many mentions after the show as the likes of Facebook and Twitter do after other shows then the readership would much more closely reflect the listenership as a whole.

IF it is a representative sample it is quite big enough for statistical significance!
