How can the youth of Jo'burg be going camping in August, which is term time for both schools and universities?
Oh dear ! We have had this one before. IIRC it was Lizzie taking the children off on holiday when all the schools in Britain were in session. Message back was in effect, SWs are Time Lords and can do these things.

PS Why is Pebble looking Forward to the holidays, when all SA schools and colleges have been on holiday for weeks, and go BACK next Monday?
Phoebe said "I'm having such an awesome time, and it's going to get even better when school's finished", so a parallel universe indeed.
So more of the usual astonishingly sloppy writing then?
They don't even know/care that it's WINTER in South Africa at the moment...
The standard of education for Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú staff must be at an all-time low.
The professionals notice - Joe Public never clocks a darn thing
I forgot - winkies and other emoticons are not allowed to even appear, because we have /standards/...
(perhaps ellipsis could be prohibited next)
How can the youth of Jo'burg be going camping in August, which is term time for both schools and universities? Â Tayler - any chance of a reply from the SW's about this - seems basic research was not done....why are we not surprised?
What? No emoticons at all?
That can't be right. :- )

Now if somebody could just find a reason for them to be camping on a cold windswept beach in the middle of an SA Winter. The scriptwriters who came up with this unresearched, daft storyline, will have had their chestnuts well and truly pulled out of the fire.

No - "The Cape" was specified. Which I take to mean the nearby and a little warmer Eastern Cape.

The ocean off Port Elizabeth is a tad chilly just now.
According to SA weather reports the Antarctic Circumpolar Current is to blame.
