Tayler - can you please find out charge(s) have been brought against Adam's assailants? Is it attempted murder, GBH/ with intent? What about theft charges from the Ambridge incident?
Have the police monitored the alleged attackers prison visitors. (Maybe one of them is dodgy Darrell or a hideous Horrobin?
Furthermore, what are the names of the the accused and do they have any links to the area?
Tayler- any chance you can find out please? This story-line lacks credibility and some background details might help restore.
TIA
This story-line lacks credibility and some background details might help restore.Â
Butonly if broadcast on the programme, surely?
Otherwise we are in AmEx territory, with some listeners knowing stuff others don't.
The problem there is that the storyline suffers from a credibility gap if we the listeners don't have assurance that DD and WR are at least being kept apprised of these facts. The charges are the very least they would know, and whatever police procedures are supposed to be, their local bobby would have let slip a whole lot more, believe me. Unless, for the scriptwriters, the police perform their duties without fault, and have /always/ performed their duties without fault...
Yes, fine if /on/ /the/ /programme/ .
But not just for people with internet access!!
local bobbyÂ
Haven't had one of those for decades!
Well, maybe the question should be amended to, 'Has it been made clear on the programme what charges have been brought against Adam's assailants, and if not, will it be?' Etc.
Has it been made clear on the programme what charges have been brought against Adam's assailantsÂ
No
and if not, will it be?Â
In my mother's time-worn phrase, "Wait and see."
It's a dramatic radio serial, which has traditionally played out in almost real time and with less than the full story being made available to listeners at any given point.
People who want to know all the answers to a plot before its been played out, or who get bored and want to see the whole SL wrapped up in a day or three, may find themselves better suited to watching TV or picking up a book from the shelves & turning straight to the last page.
TA is NOT real life!
I suppose that's the difference between a serial that effectively delivers drama to its audience, and one that breaks the tension by straining credibility to breaking point and beyond, and becomes a regular object of ridicule instead. We recognise quality when we hear, or see, it.
Well, yes, Musta, we know we haven't heard it on the programme, and quite right, why should we not wait and see.
Thanks.
You put it well.
