Hi Tayler
Could you ask the team if the house is furnished or unfurnished, please?
I know at least one of Amside's properties is furnished (the guy who did the midnight flit) but I'm not sure about this one.
thanks

Presumably not if they have their own washing machine.
That's it exactly, Reggie.
I'm not sure if it is their washing machine or if it came with the house! I suspect now the house is unfurnished, but for some reason I had it in my head that it was furnished.... don't know why.
I have vague recollections that we first heard of the daughters as they were playing around a removal van, which implies that they brought their own furniture.

For shame. Surely they inherited it?
The trend is unfurnished or minimally furnished.

Hi Mieteka
I can't remember myself so will ask the team.
On the subject of the washing machine, having lived in a good many rented flats and houses in the past, some furnished places included a washing machine and some didn't (which was a real pain when we moved to another flat with a washing machine!)
Tayler
Thanks, Tayler.
I know my friend has just moved into a rented house, which was unfurnished but contained cooker, fridge and washing machine.
Seems there is no rhyme or resaon to these things!

I suspect that if there is a washer there it gets left, but if not none is bought.

At least Elmoaner's house comes with (seemingly) nondetachable floorboards.
Please, please, please Tayler make the SWs turn off the tape loop of Darrell arrives > Darrell apologises > gets tea and home made cake > takes up the floor boards > he has a chat with one of the old codgers > back go the floorboards> Darrell arrives > Darrell apologises > gets tea and home made cake > takes up the floor boards > he has a chat with one of the old codgers > back go the floorboards> up come the briefcasing floorboards....repeat ad nauseam
This is lazy script-writing and listeners are being taken for idiots.

Hi all
At the time of Elona and Darrell's move it wasn't stated what was supplied by the landlord and what wasn't - so no on air information on whether the house was furnished or not.
We do now know that the washing machine belongs to Darrell and Elona - unfortunately for them!
Hi BG - I will pass on your comment to the team.
Tayler
Thanks, Tayler.

Thanks Tayler (There are plenty of threads on DtA about Deja Vu Darrell and the flipping floorboard fiasco. Every day is like Groundhog Day at Arthur and Joyce's house.)

Surely this is a skilled dramatic portrayal of the psychological impact on the old couple contrived by Matt?

Why doesn't Darby and/or Joan phone Fagash? The old lush made a poinbt about giving them her mobile phone number so this malarkey could stop. Fagash has Mat''s number and D&J have hers so stop this poppycock.
