This seems the right place to bid Tayler farewell.
Tayler you have occupied a tricky spot between the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú mandarins and the unmentionable matelots in a storm of the moderation company.
I joined the site after the heady days when Keri himself came amongst mere messageboard posters, but if we could no longer get it from the horse's mouth at least you tried as hard as you could to get answers from the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú
Who have, sadly, now given us the final answer.
I hope other aspects of your business will grow to fill the gap here, and wish you well for the future.
I doubt I will see you in FB or twitter. I have accounts at both but no desire to use either to engage with commercial organisations with a blunt axe needing sharpening on the interweb.
I will be pleased to see you in Peet';s and Smeeesues. They will be other times.
Best wishes
Steve

Thanks Steve and best wishes to you too. I'm sure I won't be able to resist popping in to Peet's and smeesue's boards to catch up with everyone, so hopefully it's not quite farewell : )
Tayler
You'll always be most welcome, Tayler.

It's been my pleasure - thanks all : )
Tayler
My thanks too Tayler, you've been great.
Please also pass on my thanks and best wishes to Keri. It was only looking through my old threads that I saw how brilliantly he did keeping us going through thick and thin.

Will do cath. Pretty sure he'll be popping in tomorrow if you're around.

These people are so naive. Dont they realise you're paid to do this. Will you be popping into the other messageboards to garner material for your blog ?

How unnecessarily unpleasant.
Another type of post I won't miss about this place.
Look forward to seeing Keri around for the final bash.
You've been a great host, Tayler, and I'd like to apologise (again) for my stupidity last year re a certain troll.

Thank you, Tayler for your unfailing politeness and good humour sometimes under great provocation.
I won't be around tomorrow, sob. Hope all goes well.

Hi Alyson
I won't be using posts from Peet's or sue's boards for my blog posts as people have said they wouldn't like that. I will be popping in to say hello. I've been here for over 3 years - almost every day bar holidays - and have enjoyed the company and reading interesting threads. I'm truly sorry the board is closing, but glad to see that the community has somewhere to go and hope the friendships made here continue.

This person isn't at all naive and does realise that both Tayler and Keri have been paid to do what they've been doing.
This person considers that both of them have done a terrific job with a great deal of grace and forbearance under great pressure, behaviours that some of us might do well to emulate.

Aly6 we are not naiive. Rather you are lacking in perception.
Anyone who has followed my posts (before I became Spartacus and my posts hard to distinguish from those of everyone else who also becomes Spartacus) will know that I am the last person to be sycophantic. I - and others - simply recognise Tayler as someone who has tried hard and often succeeded in an almost impossible job.

I'll second that. Thanks Tayler, hope to see you around the alternative boards.

Imho the poor moderation and hosting expeited the demise of the board.

I would agree that the /moderation/ left a lot to be desired, Angua, but I still think Tayler had a difficult job which she did in a very good natured manner. In the three and a bit years she hosted she had a lot of changes to manage with the inevitable final job of switching us off tomorrow. Can't have been easy.

This posting has been hidden during moderation because it broke the in some way.
But given the job Tayler took on I think she did it very well.Â
I agree.
