Interesting Choice Of Music?

  During last nights Chelsea preview show, they showed some stunningly beautiful orchids grown by a Japanese exhibitor, the background music somewhat ironically was the theme tune to the film "Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence" a film about the treatment of prisoners of war by the Japanese.
  Perhaps not the best choice?

  My dad was a POW in Burma, he's still around, although thousands of his comrades are not. I expect he would have seen lots of orchids growing in the jungles if he'd had time to notice them (what with working an 18 hour day on a bowl of rice a day for 4 years).
  
  The Japanese have never apologised nor paid reparations to the survivors or their widows.
