I saw a on Chelsea flower show how a lady managed to grow a plant from South Africa in England so I would very much like to know if it is possible to grow such plants as wisteria, buddleia
    in Sweden.
I have managed to grow wisteria from seed in my green house but is curious as if I could move it out later in the summer.

Im also growing Hellantheumum nummularium, campanula cochelearifolia, papaver commutatum which growing wonderful in my green house.I have also managed to grow from seed Rosa chinensis 'Angel rose', Rosa filipes ,'kliftsgate' ,Jasminum fruticans. But the question is will they survive outside of my green house?

    Yours Sincerely Eva Martin

Most English sources won't help you, because mostly our winters don't go below -10C and anything hardy to -15C is classed as "fully hardy". Unless you are in the coastal fringes of southern Sweden, your winters will be colder than that.

You would be better off looking at American and in particular Canadian sites: they often hanker after the same "typically English" things, but will have more information on hardiness especially via the USDA zone system which ranks areas of the US in zones of minimum temperatures – useful for anyone else too if you know your minimum!

    www.canadianrosesociety.org/hardyroses/crs_hardy.html

lists a couple of series of fantastically hardy Canadian-bred roses, the Parkland and Explorer series that will probably grow anywhere in Scandinavia. Several of the Explorer series I know are highly rated by rose enthusiasts.
