I think that LADBROKES have been reading these Forums.

I wonder if the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Porducers have too, and, more importantly, Matthew Wilson.

I like his "tone" and a new face to TV presenting (and with a new location for the garden - four acres of open field somewhere!) would re-energise the series. Perhaps, a new set of Producers too.

While I'm a MW fan, looking at all the people being mentioned for GW, I think its extraordinary that a handful of people are being continously recycled, as suggested presenters.

There are billions of people out there working in horticulture, growing, teaching, inspiring and I'm sure quite a few who would look good and respond well to being in front of a camera.

I think the producers need to really get out there and find some of those people, instead of(presumably?) searching within a narrow band of garden people who are already in the public eye. A lot of the best candidates are probably far too involved in what they are doing to have even thought of going in for TV gardening but could be ideal.

Maybe they could do what they have done on Have I Got News for You and have a guest presenter each week and I'm sure the gang on these boards would soon sort out the wheat from the chaff for them.

As for MW, if they do or have offered it to him, what a dilemna for him...RHS or telly? I think like a fine wine, he should mature with the RHS and the presenter opportunites will always be there for later for him.

MW has been given a fantastic job at the RHS and I can't imagine him being lured to TV.
