'The 3000 Mile Garden' & 'The Quest for the Rose'

  I have both of these excellent books, the first being a serious of letters between Roger Phillips and American Leslie Land, and the second Phillip's exploration into the history of the rose. I read the former many years ago, lost my copy but recently bought another from Amazon.co.uk and am thoroughly enjoying it.
  
  Both were tv series some years ago. The former was a Channel 4 production and the latter on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú2.
  
  I would really like to see these again and wondered if either were available on videos. I have addresses to contact to confirm this but wondered if others also remember these programmes with afffection?
