i am sat watch garners world at the minute and im a bit concerned at one of the articles in the show in the dry garden. i was concerned to what would happen to the perfectly large grass removed to make way for new smaller plants.
i understand that they want new displays at berryfields but would they destroy a perfectley good established plant or would it be placed into another area within the garden...?
As a rule, the presenters are quick to point out that anything removed from a border to make way for something more appropriate, is given a new home elsewhere in the garden.
Wasn't it a pampus grass? I think you have to excuse anyone if they have got rid of a pampus!
Yes, you are right, its a devil of a plant.
