Fronting GW. A poisoned challis?

  I have been studying with much amusement the various reactions to the departure of Monty and the interest in his possible successor.
  Its interesting how many of us lamented the going of AT and took a long while to warm to MD which is natural. I was an AT fan but I doubt if he would consider taking it on again.
  It almost seems that the job has started to become a little like managing the England football team. A poisoned challis that will put off many from applying for the job.
  As a professional garder I certainly wouldnt do it, but have a lot of respect for those game enough to take it on.
  Trying to cope with the elements, the presentation and trying to please all of us all of the time cant be easy.
  Personally I quite like the idea of joint presentation because it allows the opportunity for specialisation between presenters and also perhaps more importantly thinking about Montys illness,spreads the workload.
  So I think the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú should continue with a team effort for a time which would at least ensure that we dont get left without an anchor person at short notice in future series.
  They all do a pretty good job under a fair bit of pressure from the viewers in my opinion.
  It will be interesting to see what happens at the start of the next series after the summer break.

  TV programmes are much like our minds with what we see being our conscious and the larger part being, which we don't see such as researchers, directors, accountants, and production team - our subconscious mind. I like the lead presenter theme so hope the successor emerges. Perhaps the return of Chris Beardshaw?
