why was this man given so much free P.R.?

  I was horrified to watch the hampton court prog on the i-player yesterday! are the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú not aware who this man is?? the most heavily fined farmer in the u.k. !!

  Very interesting - not least because I bought some garlic from his stand.
  
  I think more research is needed before we judge though. I found this article which implies the problems happened in 1999 and that a much chastened farmer has re-emerged (2002) to run things better
  
  
  
  My initial reaction was one of shock but reading further implies this might be someone who has learned a hard lesson and may be producing better quality stuff because of it. I don't know whether this is right or wrong but I'm not jumping to too many conclusions before researching it a bit further.
