After Malvern, Chelsea, GW Live, Hampton Court I really did hope that the Tatton coverage would be better.

No chance -the first sequence with Joe, Carol and Rachel walking across the screen spurting something but nothing I could concentrate on put paid to that.

There was a fleeting glimpse of Chris Beardshaw and a couple of shots of his beautiful planting -but what was it? Not a single bit of info on the plants he'd used.

Lots on Bob and Sue, aka Giant Trowel and Trillium, and good stuff about where they found their inspiration, but how much did we see of the finished result? I've kept my recording so I can freeze frame and have good look at it.

I still have a tiny smidgeon of hope that tonight's offering will be better, but I doubt it.

You won't be seeing any walking or talking as the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú couldn't organize a drink in a brewery.

It is just not good enough

And why replace it with Rick Stien!!!!!

They should have had enough footage on the cutting room floor from yesterday to put together some sort of program for tonight.

Toonia - I totally agree - I had taped it and was looking forward to it. Having sat down to watch it I lost interest very quickly and ended up flicking channels! I liked what we saw of Chris Beardshaws garden but the glimpse was not enough!!
Will the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú ever learn what type of coverage it's viewers really wish for?

    Hi Everyone

Unfortunately due to a technical problem with the live transmission, tonight's coverage from the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park wasn't broadcast.

It has been rescheduled for tomorrow night at 5.15pm on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Two.

We apologise for the inconvenience as we know that many of you were looking forward to it, but hope that you'll tune in tomorrow to see more from the show.

I've just watched the coverage of Tatton Park on iplayer, expecting to see some disasterous coverage of the show. What I actually saw was exactly what I expected. Can I ask what it is that members really want to see from the TV coverage. When you only have half an hour you are not going to get much more than highlights.
I find that if you take away the shows title you could be seeing any of the RHS shows from around the country. Personally if I see any more gardens like Chris Beardshaws 'Best in Show' garden I'm really going to loose interest. It may be beautiful with gorgeous plants but it does not offer me anything new or inspirational.
    Thoughts please.
