With each new lead presenter on Gardeners World comes new faces to guide and advise us.
With Geoff we met Pippa Greenwood, Bob Folwerdew, Gaye Search, Roy Lancaster. With Alan we met Joe Swift, Chris Beardshaw and Rachel De Thame and an early introduction to Sarah Raven with Dalias, and with Monty we met Carol Kliens and more of Joe and Sarah and of course Rachel who took a break for her family. I wonder who Toby will be intoducing us to.
If not this September perhaps in the new year!??

maybe his wife who did a garden makeover programe with him she seemed quite knowledgable and quite a nice lady.
Hmm, husband and wife team-not sure.
When Toby was appointed, it was also announced that Joe and Carol will still be presenting their own segments in the progs. I would also like to see Toby's wife feature in his series. Their children must have been a little older now.
Yes i am sure Carol and Joe will be 'carried over' but knowing the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú this is another opportunity to bring in 'new blood' and in time there will be casualties not doubt.
I think Toby will manage very well, with help from Carol and Joe and what I have seen of the new presenter he is a worker like the other two and if he is allowed to get on with the job he will be ok.
The lack of RDT and SR will be fine with me.
I didn't mean for my message in 'message 6' to sound derogatory towards Toby, I am in no doubt that Toby is indeed a good gardener. mine was merely an observation of the past and a thought to the future.
Oh please not wifey or even worse, entire family. I have no idea what she is like but I'm afraid I can't stand smug TV couples (although I make a strange exception for Richard and Judy) and families where they all appear to get along wondefully. I don't actually like the dysfunctional family groups either, like the Osbornes, I just like people as individuals, somehow as soon as they bring in other halves and other rellies smugness starts to seep perhaps inadvertantly through the lenses.
oh if only Richard and Judy were gardeners
They could do for lesser known plants what they did for books.

Oh dear if we must have celebrities in the garden, lets go the whole hog and have some entertaining ones, how about "Gardening with the Osbournes"?
On a more sensible note, I wonder if he will bring any of his A-G colleagues with him.
Lucy Halsall seems very knowlegeable and amiable, has she ever done any TV work?
RICHARD AND JUDY god forbid i would kill myself slowly with my garden fork rather then watch those two idiots that are totally biased and bad mannered
(quite looking forward to Toby now)
i will go along with that nannyjoys i cant stand those two
