Hello
We are science technicians at our school. One of our teachers recently caught the end of a programme but missed some vital points, can anyone fill in the missing bits from a recent gardeners world programme?
"plant the ________ with four or more leaves, 2 feet apart because they tend to spread out."
We dont know the name of the plant but it would be ideal for a space we have at school. Please can anyone advise?
Many thanks
Thomas keble school
Which programme was it and when was it on? Couldn't see anything at the end of last weeks that you are talking about.

hi! Thanks for replying - I think it was a couple of months ago on Alys Fowlers section we think (definately a female presenter!)
Sounds like it could be pumpkins/marrow/squash - if so, too late for this year.
This sounds an extremely odd request - scanty facts some months after the event. Are you sure you aren't being wound up? Or does your teacher perhaps live under a bridge?

The teacher has unfortunately left in the summer - and having spent all hols digging and getting the space ready we cant remember now what she said!!
Sorry for doubting her, sirthomaskebleschool!
Is it a vegetable plot, or more of an ornamental planting? Even if these boards can't come up with the exact answer, someone might be able to suggest a suitable plant for your space.
