Help! I have a small south facing garden that faces onto a small road. The previous owners put in a berberis hedge which is lovely but because of situ, people passing or parking a car often walk on my garden or run there car over it when parking as they think it's a grassed part of the road. I would like to put in some small plants in front of that hedge to stop this happening. I have some small blue hebes but am so uncertain if these would work. Any ideas would be welcome thanks.
In my experience anything to do with the public needs big spikey thorns for them to respect it. Big rocks work too. How big is the hedge? Why not move that?
Hi there, that's a thorny question but you have accidentally posted this on the wrong thread - if you re-post your question over to the Garden Clinic or Garden Inspiration thread, you'll probably get a few more replies. This thread is just about gardening progs on the telly. Hope that helps.
