I see from my new issue of Radio Times that on Friday 1st May (just as things are really starting to hot up out there in the garden) there will be no GW - not even a 30 minute programme. Apparently GW has been dislodged by a combination of Snooker and English Heritage's attempt to save "Sheffield's crumbling Park Hill Estate" (yawn).
Four programmes into the series and GW goes off air. No surprise there - they only have, how many Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú channels are there? - 4 channels and GW could have been moved to either Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú3 or Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú4, but they couldn't be bothered, as per usual. Not like their viewer-friendly Big Sister 'Beechgrove' which kindly moves to another channel when necessary.
The sad things is, once I'd have been disappointed but now frankly it doesn't matter whether it's on or not.

Well said Bluedoyenne, my feelings exactly (hence the question mark at the end of my discussion title). Once apon a time (just before Monty was taken ill actually) I would have been very angry if GW was dropped to make way for such dross, but now that GW has itself become dross I find I don't care any more.
