As the organiser of a school gardening club aimed at 5-9 year olds I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the producers of GW. No longer do my collegues and I have to ponder over what activities to do with the younger children, we just watch Gardeners World and have plenty of ideas.
When, oh when will GW be a programme aimed at ALL gardeners, not just beginners? I applaud getting everyone interested in this wonderful activity, but you know, some of us are not beginners.
And a cement mixer to mix grass seed? C'mon, get real.
HSL,
You are going to get us all in trouble for starting a new thread
I agree totally with you though, it is trying to be something for everyone and its not appealing to anyone. They have got so confused, it is really sad to see our flagship gardening show in tatters.
Save Gardener's World
Maybe I should change my name to Save Carol Klein. She really should jump ship, her knowledge is so under utilsed on this show now its laughable. I admire her so much and hate to see her reduced to this piffle.
You should, although Marcus might if you don't
Can I join this Norty Corner too? As I'm a real 'cuttings freak' I would love to see hands on advice about taking cuttings (to convince me I'm doing it right!) - Alice tried but it wasn't meaty enough! Think Carol should really have her own show.
another vote here for Carol - as producer as well as presenter, that way she won't have to sit off-camera with her head in her hands...
As Marcus has the official Carol fan club, perhaps we could be the slightly more edgy "unoffical fan club"
