If you enjoyed 'Sissinghurst' on the telly you might like to know that Sarah Raven and Adam Nicolson are on Radio 3 each night this week at 11.00pm in 'The Essay: The Cretan Spring'. Each programme is only 15 mins.
I've just listened to the first two on i-player -
bits of history, nature, food and some lovely plant descriptions from Sarah. Well worth catching.
After watching Sissinghurst I cannot stand that woman, so will give it a miss but thanks for mentioning it.
Hi Boofer - thanks for flagging this one up. Sounds like good cosy listening! Phyll
I think Sarah is very knowlegable and very interesting, I have been on two of her courses, bought several of her books and love her garden, to me she is a real inspiration and a huge loss to Gardeners World but I also think Carol not being the lead presenter and the loss of Monty are a huge loss to Gardeners World. Loved Geoff and Alan and likded Rachel too!
