This will probably be closed too, but really I have to say that tonight's show wasn't nearly as bad as people are making out.
I am not, incidentally, a troll. I am however new to gardening. I am not old, and not young either...so I can't be accused of being either stuck in my ways or trendy, yuppie, teletubby or anything else.
Good grief people. It's a gardening show. Things move on in life. Things change. I didn't see anything tonight that gave me huge cause for concern (apart from Toby's advice to plant a 'big tree like this one nice and deep'...bit of a generalisation).
I liked the progress at Greenacre. I liked the veg they chose. I think the perennials trial border is a good idea. I love Heucherae. I thought the hanging basket item was a laugh. And the rooks on CCTV.
All this moaning has got to stop. It's spoiling the boards for those of us who don't have a problem. Seriously. Why don't all you dissenters go off and create a hate forum somewhere else? It's a real downer. I used to come on here for a chat or a bit of advice. These days it's swamped by negativity.

Are you saying we should not be free to express our opinions on here? We are all entitled to have our say, whether we agree with each other or not.

It was poor, very poor and that's not being negative its being truthful. If it was of an acceptable standard then I would say so, and I would be very happy to do so.
There is a thread for posting on last nights debarcle so why open another pointless thread?, again. I am not being funny but you seem to know what a troll is, so all I can say is troll is as troll does?

All this moaning has got to stop.

But moaning about people moaning is alright is it, as long as it's you that's doing it?

Anyway, no, I don't want people moaning about the show to stop. I live in Wales so don't get the show broadcast until Saturday, and I like reading people's reviews of the show on a Friday, good and bad. It helps me decide whether I'm going to bother watching on Saturday.

This week, I will watch it as people have said Alys is making a cold frame and it's something I would like to do. I've got a load of old bricks but am stuck for something to make the top out of despite scouring Freecycle.

So keep up the criticism and the praise - I like to read both. smiley - ok
