why should a comment that we are paying for the excessive expense of the new gardener's world which we do not like is akin to the MP expense scandal censored?

if your production team do not listen to us when we are forced to pay for the program perhaps teh producton team should be fired. What is the diference between excessive costs for rasied beds. slate ponds. etc taxi fares for crew different to that of Mp's salary. Unemployed poople are forced to pay the license fee or the balifs are called. ergo tax! We do not like the new programme change it or go!

The difference is that the licence fee goes to the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú to make and broadcast programmes with. And some of that money is going to making and broadcasting Gardener's World - which is a TV programme.

I like Gardeners' World. I like Toby and Alys. I like the big shed, and I really like the use of a spade and a fork used as handles on the shed dooors.
I'm happy for my licence fee, which is quite reasonable at £11.95 per month, to be spent on the raised beds (which are similar to mine) and the slate pond. There is no need for anyone to resign.

I'm wondering what the budget for the new site, garden, glasshouse, wall and other hard landscaping is? I usually switch off the program, but kept it on last week and couldn't believe how bad it was. Here's a Thrifty Tip Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú.....Put Carol Klein on for 20mins then re-run Geoff Hamilton.

As someone quite new to gardening i havent really watched gardeners world over the years. I have been watching this series and have to say i agree that it is not always good viewing. As a novice i watch to get tips and ideas. I havent got thousands to spend on top soil and raised beds and would like to see more of gardening in average sized gardens or allotments which i think perhaps more of us could identify with. I do like Carol as i think her knowledge and enthusiasim shines through.
