Oliver & the Red Button

  I watched the red button coverage last night and was a tad disappointed. It only ran for 30 mins, half of which was devoted to three of the show gardens.
  
  I'm sure we saw more of the Great Pavilion with Carol last year. In fact, I have positive proof that we did as OH watched with me tonight whereas last year he went to bed muttering in that way non-gardeners do.
  
  I know that we can look forward to other coverage for the rest of the week but 15 minutes of the actual flowers is not enough. I'm sure I speak for the workhouse, I mean messageboard, when I say 'Please, can I have some more?'

  Thanks for the reply, Phyll, but it hasn't really answered the point I was making.
  
  Last year Carol and Chris did red button coverage in the Pavilion. If I remember correctly they did about an hour each with Carol being shown one night and Chris the next. This year so far we have seen Carol for 15 minutes so even if she (or Chris) does 15 minutes for the next three nights we are still only getting an hour of flowers as opposed to the two hours we got last year.
  
  Without sounding ungrateful, I just wondered why?
  
  PS I am loving the Growers Guides on the TV coverage.
