I followed the suggested route. I sent in a complaint about GW presenter Tony Buckland. I received a patronising reply, they had noted my e mail, put my concerns on file and that nothing will change. We all heard Alan Titchmarsh advise the man to ignore critism in the Chelsea coverage last Friday. Almost telling him to refuse to move. This site is obviously designed allow us to 'Let off Steam! while they ignore us.STITCH OFF ON FRIDAYS UNTIL THEY LISTEN. If, as the e mail I received stated, GW was a tired out dated 41 year old format, why did they wait for Monty Don to be ill before they changed it? Buckland cannot present! He cannot communicate! It is not the format, the location, that I resist change. I was not even born 41 years ago! The Chelsea coverage illustrated that one after another person was able to enthuse the viewers, that is until Buckland appeared. I would quite like to be Obama, Gordon Brown would like to be dynamic sadly life is not like that! This is a time when the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú could have found a vast new audience. Children, schools, every news paper have developed an interest in gardening. At this time Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú select a presenter with a personality bypass to front GW. The Chelsea coverage illustrated the wealth of talent avaialble to host gardening's premier tv programme. Age, sex, nationality were irrelivant only their abilty to enthuse. Shame on you Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú. It is not that you cannot see it. It is not that you are unaware of it. It is that you have 'dug your heals in' -forgive the pun. You do not want to admit you have made a mistake. You are willing to destroy a programme rather than rectify an error.

Eh?
Breath out slowly....then move on.
The reason Alan Tichmarsh gave Toby that advice was because he was also the receiver of a lot of criticism when he took on the job..... Pheraps you where one of those that wrote him a letter slating him of as well.
was still at university in those days!
here is a first! A Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú web page and someone admits that they have made a mistake. When Titchmarsh started I was not old enough to go to school. Outdated- out moded and after 41 over years in need of a change! Sadly although I quote the e mail I was sent today by Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú referring to teh GW programme they prodiced up to this season, it is clearly the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú management who believe they have a right to use public funds as they wish without any censure who are in need of an update and revamp. Perhaps we can suggest that 'expense claims are put on line.'

Er.. are we still talking about the post here, Houdy?
well, i am getting it! ha
oooh the Gardeners' World team will show you how to lay a garden path this week!
I wonder if the bricks it's made out of will be Lego and any tools made by Fisher Price.....
After Chelsea it will probably be plasticene!!
I was at Legoland yesterday - it's amazing what you can do with those little bricks.
Also amazing how much Legoland and those bricks cost so should be fine for use by GW unless they raid a kiddy's toy box and call it recycling.
I wonder if the bricks will be yellow?
Te-hee
OOps that didn't work I will try again:
