Can anyone tell me the name of the pencil shaped fir trees that were used in show gardens at Chelsea? It was mentioned in one of the programmes but has slipped my mind! Thanks, J

Hi there thebigjm - do you mean the ones in the Perfume Garden?
If so, these are Thuja occidentalis - much denser and tighter growing than the Juniper 'Skyrocket'.

The Thuja will mature to 20m and the Juniper will mature to 5m.
An avenue of either is fabulous it just depends on what height you want.
