30 Min Makeover Garden on roof of shed
Its hardly a 30 minuite job
Builders yard for damp proof plastic
Wood yard for wood
Garden centre for plants
Make a good job of IT
This would take me best part of a day
They should use things that you can readily find around the house, otherwise dont call it a 30 min job
This has just turned into a farce! Whilst I don't mind having a laugh - I watch GW for information, tips, new plants etc. Its not meant to be a comedy. Alys needs to put her foot down and refuse to get involved in these silly games and stick to what she's good at and trained for.
I think Joe has got the message -he did say once again that it was better to take your time and do a good job and make something to last.
I think he said it on Friday toonia.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure I can remember Joe planting a garden on top of a shed a few seasons ago on GW. Anyone else recall that?
H
Yes, he said it Friday and also when he was forced into the hanging basket "fix".
Joe did plant a green roof at Berryfields. He did a good proper job too.
I was always taught that a job worth doing was worth doing properly - am I showing my age?
Can someone explain how covering half of the shed roof with blue plastic will stop it rotting? Won't water run down the exposed part of the roof and find it's way under the blue plastic?
(I'm also still pondering on the idea of putting mint which likes moisture in with meditterean herbs as was shown last week).
I didn't pick up on the mint/mediterranean herbs bit but now you mention it, I think you're right.
Anything as long as it looks good.
