I'm certain that an episode of Gardener's World in early June had a piece about long-flowering roses, but I can't see it in any of the programme descriptions, nor a list of roses featured. Does anyone know which episode this was, or did they make a note of the roses at the time? I know two were D'Arcy Bussell and Jacqueline Dupree, but I wasn't quick enough to catch the rest. Please let me know if you know what they are.

did'nt see the programme, but J Dupree is a shrub rose. If you regularly dead head roses when the flowers have faded, they will continue to flower right through the summer and into autumn early winter in mild weather. Most hybrid Tea and floribunda rose bushes and the David Austin English shrub roses will repeat flower with regular deadheading.
I have a shrub rose called 'Jacques Cartier' which flowers right through summer into autumn. It wasn't expensive - in fact it came from a large DIY store - but it has lovely pale pink double flowers and a very good perfume. I also have many David Austen roses which are long flowering too but cost rather more to buy.
thank you for that
Hi SnowRose
If you look at one of the Rose suppliers' websites - Fryers, for example and look under the 'Floribunda' section, they have many long-flowering roses listed. You donn't need to buy from them, but it will give you some idea of what is available.
