Well, its on tomorrow and no doubt, we will have enough posts commenting on the content. I just wish we could write and read positive comments more.
Is There is usually an Iplayer preview ?
I wouldn't know, I am not that modern yet.
LOL at Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú censorship. It's a playing field, not Area 51!
LOL@J.J
...and pray what is Area 51 (the area between 50 and 52)?
PaulN
Area 51/Groom Lake was/is a very secret american airbase. The place where they test hypersonic aircraft such as project Aurora for example.
A 'white' version of this was tested over the pacific about 18 months ago.
Also if you believe, this is where the wreckage of the the ship that landed at Roswell is kept.
They also have a really good collection of Russian military jets and a massive runway.
Anyway with regard to the first post, I won't moan if its a reasonable program, but from what we have seen this year its not getting any better. I had high hopes for the new presenter but it has failed to impress.
Near to Area 51 there is a tiny township called Rachel (named after the first citizen to be born there - not sure what it was called when her parents turned up: "remote bit of the Nevadan desert" perhaps) which contains a burger joint called the "Little Alei'inn" Aliens - geddit?
Pardon my ignorance but what has all these talk about Area 51 and Rachel etc. to do with GW?
Nothing. But it`s been more interesting than your original post !

That's a shame I thought we were getting to the point where it would be revealed that the GW team were aliens. This would explain quite a bit really. Did anyone see that series V?
There's a preview clip for tonight's show on the Gardeners' World website, as well as more information on the blog

Oh great! At last a return to the pond which is looking surprisingly sensible.
How can a pond look sensible? Is it wearing comfortable flat shoes or something?
It is wearing shoes made with tile stones!

From the I-player trailer (haven't seen the full programme yet) the actual structure of the pond seemed sturdier than I had remembered with the top tiles being a lot broader although that could have been the angle it was filmed at. The water didn't look as murky as I had expected although that may be due to the fact that it is always cold and rainy in Birmingham. The advice about water lilies was interesting and dare I say it - sensible. The only trouble for me is I actually like to be able to look into the water of a small pond rather than have the surface obscured by vegetation.
