Hi all, there's a preview of tonight's show available to watch here:
Enjoy! Phyll
After last week's performance is it worth bothering?
Looked like it was going to be a great programme. A cottage garden .... everyone's favourite. Checked the schedules earlier today and was thrilled to see that, in spite of the darned atheletics, we gardeners were not going to be given the usual 'heave ho'.
But its now 8.22 and the schedule doesn't show GW any more Checked Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú3 and Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú4 just in case .... GW's nowwhere to be found !!
If it's been re-scheduled, could someone please tell me.
Typical, scrap gardener's World without warning, alays the frist thing to go. They could show the athletics on the red button, fools.
Totally agree, I'm spitting feathers.
Change to our programs again, without notice and without thought. Thanks Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú if I could i would ask for my money back.

I decided to give it one last chance as there was not much of a choice at 8.00pm and even GW is better than that Easijet rubbish. Then I realised it was scheduled to be an half hour programme starting at 8.30. Did that not happen either? I couldn't be bothered to check at 8.30 as Corrie was back on by that time.
There was a "quick flash" to say GW will now be on Sunday at 5.35 on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú2, which is instead of Dragon's Den.
I had hoped with the improving format that the pulling of GW at the slightest whim would also have ceased.
Do the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú programmers not realise that more and more people are taking to gardening as relief from the economic downturn? They are missing a great opportunity. They still don't get it, do they?
I wish there was a smiley.
I quite agree with all the sentiments already witten on the subject of the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú once again dropping GW. Athletics has been on all week, plus it can be seen by pressing the red button. 5.35 on Sunday is not a good time at all - gardeners will be gardening!
Really rather gutted
Beeb you're a real disappointment tonight...
Has there not been enough athletics on all week ?
I am furious that the programme was just simply cut out. I had arranged my evening around it and feel really put out and very cross!
No matter how much GW gets knocked, I still find something of interest most weeks.
Does the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú ever consider who pays the licence fees, which in turn pay everyone employed within the 'corporations' wages?
Perhaps the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú senior executives should be 'elected' by the licence payers, and then we could have a democratic decision on whether or not they get their programming priorities right!
Can our Gardening Host (Phyll)post something on this thread as to the reasons why GW wasn't on tonight?
I can't wait to see what he has to offer!
hi there, iwanted to see the programme really, which didnt come on. im disapointed.
i thought i could see it on i player but they have a preview of how good it was going to be.
it looked good didnt it. daff world
But I want to see Dragons Den on Sunday at 5.35. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Houdy222, you know why GW wasn't on tonight, no explanation needed. Weren't you watching tv tonight?
It really is a blessing to know it isn't much of a loss anyway.
Could you cancel next week's eppi too, please?

I have a feeling it was one of those filmed in advance one-offs they do so that they don't all have to trail up to Birmingham and pretend to garden in the rain. Very disrespectful to the owners of Jessamine Cottage Garden (not to be confused with the Jessamine Cottage Garden near Shrewsbury) who had probably told all their friends and family they were going to be on TV last night!
The usual contempt applied to them as well as the viewer.
Of course they are probably justified in thinking that GW is emminently missable these days. About time one of the other channels picked up the Friday night audience with some decent gardening programme.
