i liked gardeners world last night. how the presenters talked to the camera so the veiwer could lisen and watch. instead of the silly banter they have sometimes done.
i liked the no 30 minute fix.
i liked the different subjects no talk of jungle plants, that most people dont have.
the format, and programme has certainly improved.
why has it had to move from its regular slot to 10pm
i shall miss the normal gardening programme but
many dont do gardening this time of year much,so i understand.more to look forward to in spring
when the programme returns. daffworld
Hi Daff,
I agree, it was another great show! About the time slot, from what I remember it was intential from the start for them to do a certain amount of 1 hour and 30 minute shows, and these 10pm shows are 'specials' as such. (It said on the website)
Will be good to see it all, next weeks is about Carol's class.
I enjoyed it too.
And when the guest expert was planting shrubs showed us how to 'tease' roots out before planting I thought, Oh Dear, now someone is going to post a critical message about the use of the word 'tease', or is that somehow less shocking than Toby's use of the word 'tickle' in the same context a couple of weeks ago?
