I have posted on here,SCD and Archers boards for years. Now I find ( after the new signing in system) that I am in pre moderation again on this board. This is not the case with SCD or the Archers. Do these boards actually want to lose contributers???!!!

It looks as though you're not the only one. Has your ID number changed, & if so, is it much later (i.e. longer) than the one you had before? Ma.
I'm afraid they already have lost a lot of knowledgeable people, compared to when I first signed up.
At least a full page of todays posts would be seen on 3 of the subsections at this time of the day, whereas now it can take two to three days to fill a page.
This not to condemn the people who do post nowadays.

This posting has been hidden during moderation because it broke the in some way.

Nope seems I'm not, it may be because I've been on other boards and I think I've already updated my username or whatever I was ment to do. What do folks think of the new look to the board?
SparklyTwirler - I'm in pre-mod on this and The Archers' boards, but not Strictly.
Can't see why it should vary for different people.

Perhaps you have been very naughty David.
interesting mess the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú seems to have created. Message 5 was apparently submitted by Toadspawn. However, since I signed on this morning with the nickname Toadspawn, (a name I have been using for at least four years) I have not submitted any messages so what is going on?
Toadspawn, yep other post had different number, but same username! Grounds for complaint? troll, trying it on? or perhaps modify your name so we know who you are?
Weird how some people having to go through pre-mod again & not others. J.

Yep. No pre-mod.
Toadspawn: sorry to hear you have an identity crisis. I tried to sign up to Twitter as CyclingGardener only to find I was already there. How many of me can there be? Pretty annoying someone beat me to it. In fact, thinking about it now, I'll do some research to see who it could be.....
Just checking my present status.
...as I suspected, back in pre-mod.
I'm baffled by the fact that sometimes I'm in pre-mod and not at others.

Hello David - I'm back in pre-mod - isn't it a pain !! I find I'm posting anything just to escape. Nan x
It surely is, Nan! Though my last two posts appeared 3 mins appart (given the 3 min rule) I suppose that isn't too bad.
No one makes improvements like the beeb!
I'm OK on here and the Food boards but can't even get on to Strictly at the moment!
Will try again!
Hi, Apple.
Odd, isn't it? Strictly is the only one not to be affected for me.
Think I'm still in pre-mod here, so need to start some serious message posting.

Morning all,
Just bumping up my postings but to share with you all the fact that we are snowed in today up on the top of the Pennines - sun shining and my daughter and grandson are outside making a snowman - wish I could post pictures easily here without setting up an account elsewhere - anyway - a good day to you all - need my sunglasses
To be topical, seasonal and to boost my message count, I send you this from my locked potting shed:

I am also wishing everyone a Merry Christmas (I WILL get out of pre-mod) Especially for dog lovers. Nan x

It will take time, but you will slowly feel better, although you probably don't believe that right now, do you?
Try to keep occupied and take a look at the boards and I do hope you feel a little better soon
Lots of love

Oh digital I am so sorry to hear that, readers of the Potting Shed will know we had a lot of trouble with our little dog before Christmas, so I do feel for you. Nan x
So sad to hear that your dog has died. I lost my dog died over Christmas many years ago. The sad thing was we'd taken him to the vet who said to bring him back after Christmas to put him to sleep. He was a bag of bones and was living on egg and brandy!
On Christmas eve he asked to go into the garden and I took my eyes off him for a few moments to talk to a neighbour. He'd gone. We lived opposite large fields, at the time, and we and lots of our neighbours looked for him for days. We contacted the police, local RSPCA, local vets etc. But we never found him. I still feel so sad. Have heard since that some animals go away when they are dying ... wish he had stayed!
My thoughts are with you.
x
Poor Apple, Years ago I had a 21 year old cat, Prudence (after Prudence Kitten if any of you are old enough to remember her) and for the last couple of months of her life she slept, I woke her up for her food, she would eat, go to the door and go out for only 10 minutes then come in and go back to sleep. She seemed perfectly content, then one day she did the same as your dog, went to the door as usual, went out as usual, but never returned. We, too, hunted all over, neighbours helped, rang vet's etc. but to no avail. Weird isn't it, you would think they would prefer to go in the warm with loved ones. Nan x
Oh Dear.
when my last cat was 'ready' I found him lying outside on the path ratjher than inside in the warm.
I have no medical Knowlege , but the night bfore my Mum died she was suddenly very hot.
just testing
