Lawn Trials 2009

  Hiya,
  
  I just wondered what the results were of the 2009 lawn trial that Alys and Toby did on the 'back gardens'. I was looking forward to find out what the results were, but unless I missed it it wasn't referenced.
  
  Would someone from the backstage team be able to let us know, as I THINK that both were turf, so I presume that Alys seed's didn't take well?

  Here's a response from the production team:
  
  Many thanks for the comments on the turf vs seed trial we started last year. Following the heavy snow over winter the results were inconclusive and therefore we decided not to feature the item earlier on this year. The area is now laid to turf and is an integral part of Alys' forest garden.

  I should of realised that actually, but it's good to know! And just incase you read this, I would just like to say I am really looking forward to seeing Aly's woodland garden develop, I think gardening should always be about learning something new.
