Agreed-a nice bit of fun- obviously scripted- but the questions seemed genuine and topical and even Lynda's grass problem segment seemed real.
I can't wait for The Archers go to Emmerdale.
I have downloaded the episode as I missed most of the programme. Tuned in at 2.30 thinking it was time for the saturday play... and found Vicky asking questions about mistletoe. It was quite fun though.
As a lifelong listener and (dare I say) TA message board head gardener I found it quite interesting & informative.
It lost a little bit of credibility inasmuch as those asking the questions (in their character roles) wouldn’t know one end of a rake from the other.
Yes, I enjoyed it too. Was a bit sceptical at first, but all the questions relevant for people. J.
