I can meet by chance the retired gentleman in Lincolnshire and he mentioned the gardening video postings he has made on Youtube.
I urge the powers that be on Gardeners World and others to spend a few minuets looking at this.
He is a true gem who should be broadcasting on the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú. An ordinary man with a limited garden and budget but a wonderful skill at presenting.
Nicely done Mr RTFishall,
This is what I've been banging on about....'proper' gardeners presenting gardening shows, namely GW.....and this chappy would be the perfect candidate.....
lets hope the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú sit up and take notice!
come the revolution the likes of De Thame, Swift, and Monty Don, will be names consigned to the history books!¬
The old boy knows his gardening right enough. Although he's overlooked the all important box hedging....
Grand chap, good sense of humour and really useful tips.
Sadly no use at all for GW, as Colin points out no box hedges and where are the pleached limes? I bet he doesn't even have one of Monty's fancy rakes nor an army of helpers to do the digging.
I agree with his point on rainwater being far better than tap water too!
Thanks for the tip RTF
