The tour of Monty thro the gardens of Itay was excellent and very interesting
and informing.for someone living in Southern France with a Mediterranean garden which is in its second year and blooming gives me encouragement to work harder Thanks Monty
I quite agree, Mr. Don is elloquent, informed, witty, enchanting with his "walking essay" and was suitably different to his previous programme series, AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 GARDEN.
If sending him around the world not only reduces his S.A.D. medical condition and he can produce such excellent output then give him another commission.
He's much more suited to being a travel/garden presenter than he is to GW. He's a presenter not a gardener - he lacks enthusiasm for the craft.
Lowena
Is that 'craft' or graft?
On recent showing.........both!!
Excellent show, I think he is both a good presenter and gardener. I don't think he presents like Titchmarsh does so that may not fit very well with some, but I think he does a great job
