My good Friend maggie has just died at too young an age. I am trying to find a plant or flower called maggie to plant in her memory - she loved flowers. I can find a Rose but she was not keen on roses.
Does anyone know of another flower . She loved fuchsias but I don,t know about trying to name one.
If anyone can help I would be really grateful. Thanks. It,s something I want to do for mahggie.
Thanks you
Lyn

I am sorry for your loss. There are several fuchsias that might fit the bill and I found a website that might be able to help - even though fuchsias are out of season they may be able to source you plants for next year.
Fuchsia 'Margaret' or 'Maggie Little' or Maggie Makepiece' or 'Maggie Rose'.
The website is for a fuchsia nursery potashnursery.co.uk.
There is also Canna 'Maggie'
Hope this helps

Hi Lyn,
I do sympathise with you - it's heartbreaking to lose good friends, but later on we come to terms with it and remember with joy all the good times. Perhaps simply plant a sunny corner of your garden with things that she liked and that remind you of her, and put a little table and chair there for yourself.
Best wishes,
Joe
