Short of a pack of hungry dobermans does anyone know how to stop the wretched local cats using my lovingly prepared seed beds as a latrine??
I've tried all sorts, sprays, twigs, ultrasonic things but nothing seems to stop them. they just keep on coming back and digging up my seeds and making a mess in my plot
I don't have enough money to hire a sniper and I fear it may upset the neighbours if I do, but I'm beginning to think its my only option...

Rig up some kinda netting that's what I've done to keep out not only cats but foxes and pigeons.
Orange peel (they don't like the smell of orange oil) and clear plastic water bottles filled with water placed in the borders work in my garden.
Or if you have holly, you could try putting some leaves down. Or chicken wire laid over the ground.
sorry im late in answering your question about the cats,as ive only just joined, but, netting definately works i have 2 neighbours who have 12 cats between them netting is the only way ive found
Try KFC, Kentucky Fried Cat, Hmmm finger licking good would you like fries with that
