For the first time I've attempted to grow tomatillos. Started seeds in late Feb as per packet instructions and had them in my conservatory which gets loads of light. Going great guns around 2ft with lots of flowers which I was polllinating with a cotton bud. Noticed last week a few of the leaves had a pale green spot/blister appearance which quickly turned into white streaks then holes. No sign of infestation and stems/flowers look ok. Now whole leaves are pale green/whitish and very droopy but it doesn't seem to be mildewy. All plants are the same. Last week I decanted the plants outside in case they had something that would pass to my toms etc. (Covered with a cosy fleece blanket at night). Today I've sprayed & watered with epsom salts as concerted googling has not flung up anything I can definitely diagnose. Any thoughts as to what is up? I'm loathe to bin but will if need be.
Thanks
LTC
Nothing to say about the ailment I'm afraid, BUT....Make sure the Tomatillo is near the door, they can grow huge, mine took over the greenhouse. The fruit are Very good in salsa. Cheers, Tony.
