    Hello,

    Can you advise me on planting the following items together as iam short of space and want to grow as much as possible.

    Peas-French Beans with Sweetcorn.

    Can swede-turnips be put in tubs?

    any other suggestions would be gratefully recieved.

    Hi Wendy,

    see page 3 on this board, thread called 3 sisters planting.

    French beans will do just as well as runner beans etc.

    peas not i think as you need to plant a lot of them to get a crop, but you can plant them by themselves quite clos together.

    Swedes: can't help you ther, don't see why not as the don't have a very deep root run. Suspect need a lot of water and feed in a pot though. success!
